Canadian pop music icon Sarah McLachlan bounces back from her bout with acute laryngitis, which forced the singer to move her “Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary“ Tour to 2025. “Recovered and recharged,” the multiple Juno and GRAMMY Award winner will take off alongside special guest Tiny Habits for an after-Halloween caper on Saturday, November 1st, at the Videotron Centre, Quebec. Celebrating her multi-platinum third album, with some classics and new music mixed in, this concert is part of McLachlan’s 15-city jaunt through her home country, where she’ll perform the record front to back, from its Canadian Hot 100 Top 30 lead single “Possession” to the critically acclaimed closing title song.
Fumbling Towards Ecstasy scored Top 5 on Canadian Billboard and Top 50 on the US chart, with over 3 million copies sold across the globe. Lauded by critics for its emotional maturity and “gorgeous arrangements,” it also emphasized the depths of our headliner’s voice in such stellar singles as “Good Enough” and “Hold On.” In a statement, the 57-year-old artist shared her excitement of walking down memory lane as she hopes to bring good memories back to the surface through the album’s enduring hits.
Even today, Sarah McLachlan remains one of Canada’s most decorated and beloved musical stars, having recorded Top 10 songs like “Angel” and GRAMMY-winning classics “Last Dance,” “Building A Mystery,” and “I Will Remember You.” She founded the historic Lilith Fair, the first women’s music festival of its kind, and received a dozen Junos on top of a Hall of Fame entry and several national honors and medals.
