Shinedown is a hard rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 2001. Shinedown is one of the biggest rock bands in the world with songs “Save Me”, “Second Chance”, “Cut the Cord” and the title track “Dance, Kid, Dance” and songs from their new album Ei8ht (2026).
Shinedown are considered trailblazers in hard rock and are the record holders for the most number one mainstream rock songs on Billboard with 22 number one songs. They reached number one on Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Mainstream Rock Artists in June of 2021. The band is comprised of frontman Brent Smith, drummer Barry Kerch, guitarist Zach Myers and bassist Eric Bass and they have sold over 10 million records worldwide.
