Sweat, riffs, and screams will fly in an onslaught between three ferocious acts representing the future of heavy metal music! This Thursday, November 6th, 2025, the “Ascend Above the Ashes” Tour will flatten the Videotron Centre from the combined forces of Trivium and guest bands Jinjer and Heriot, presented by Live Nation.
In an extended celebration of their iconic sophomore album’s 20th anniversary, Trivium confirmed this newly-concocted sequel to the “Poisoned Ascendancy” series. 32 cities across the US and Canada will glean the thunderous opportunity of experiencing our Grammy-nominated main event’s bangers, featuring singles “Like Light to the Flies” and “A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation.”

Another monstrous tour rises from the maw of multi-awarded heavy metal unit Trivium after the co-headlining “Poisoned Ascendancy,” which cleared out much of its previous North American run. This Fall, under Live Nation, the Orlando-based quartet will tear through the roads again with guests Jinjer and Heriot, wreaking havoc on the Videotron Centre, Quebec, this Thursday, November 6, 2025. Trivium’s upcoming “Ascend Above the Ashes” Tour maps a 32-city trek from the USA to Canada, poised to continue the ear-splitting 20th-anniversary celebrations of the Grammy-nominated band’s sophomore LP, crowned the 2005 “Album of the Year” by Kerrang Magazine.
Featuring restless singles “Like Light to the Flies,” “A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation,” and “Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr,” Ascendancy (2005) is a long-standing staple of the heavy music scene, widely venerated for its powerful brand of thrash and melodic death. In addition, Trivium teases some long-overdue releases set to push this tour’s hype from 10 to 11, with more surprises lurking below the surface — possibly, the classics and Top 40 hits like "The Rising,” “Built to Fall,” “Strife,” and “The Heart from Your Hate.”

Ukrainian metalcore outfit Jinjer, known for such heavy bangers as “Teacher, Teacher!” and “Pisces,” will appear in a guest capacity. They come off from the highs of their latest album, Duél, to unleash vengeful shocks of post-hardcore and prog-metal riffs. For our opening act, we have a second metalcore support in Heriot, a British breakout band whose style mashes hardcore, industrial, doom, and death metal fusions in songs like “Opaline” and “Siege Lord.”
